Some brilliance in the field and great presence of mind has won England the last ODI. England won the toss and put themselves to bat, at one stage they were looking over 450, but bowlers restrict them 352/9. Joe Root and Eoin Morgan played a brilliant knock, and both scored 84 and 76 respectively. Imad Wasim picked 3 wickets and was the only bowler with the economy under 6 who bowled 10 overs.

In reply to England's 352 Pakistan had a disastrous start. They lost three wickets for just six runs. Fakhar Zaman and Muhammad Hafeez scored duck while Abid Ali scored 5 off 9. Very close call by the umpire on the decision of Abid Ali and Muhammad Hafeez. It was surprising that Muhammad Hafeez was shaking his head, but he didn't go for the review.

After 6/3 Babar Azam and Sarfraz Ahmad played some good cricket. They not only rebuild the innings but also kept the scoreboard ticking. One had to appreciate the athleticism and presence of mind from the English cricket player. The runout of Babar Azam was a superb display of skills by Adil Rashid. He also caught and bowled Malik with great athleticism. Not only that, the runout of Sarfraz Ahmad was a brilliant display of cricket skills and game awareness by Jos Buttler. Pakistani skipper had no idea where the ball was? Sarfraz always in a hurry to leave the crease and has paid the heaviest price. He was run out on 97 off 80 deliveries.

Nothing much to discuss for Asif and Imad as Pakistan lost by 54 runs and the series by 4-0. The second whitewash for Pakistan in the year of Cricket World Cup, never a good sign for players. Pakistani batsman scored a lot of centuries this year, but none of them in the winning cause. Pakistan lost cricket series to South Africa, Australia, and England in a pathetic manner. Well definitely, Pakistan can surprise us in ICC Cricket World Cup, but they are not among the favorites.
