The three scheduled cricket matches of HBL PSL season 4 that were supposed to be held in Gaddafi Stadium Lahore are now shifted to National Stadium Karachi due to the tense border situation between Pakistan and India. As much of the air route operated by Pakistan are still closed or under observation. It means that entire HBL PSL season 4 will be held in one stadium i.e. KARACHI.

PCB has said that tickets of the Lahore matches will be refunded to the people and they apologize for it but, they also said it was in the major interest of the nation. PCB was willing to host the matches in Lahore and Karachi in a swapping manner but it was not possible as the time frame of the tournament does not allow this to happen because just after the two days of PSL Pakistan international cricket team has to travel for UAE on 19th of March for the Australian tour.

One more problem that PCB is facing is for the staff of broadcasters and live coverage team. After PCB had removed IMG-Reliance from the coverage and the broadcasting rights were given to Trans-Blitz there are still many Indians who are working as a freelancer under Trans-Blitz supervision in UAE. Their visa and other paperwork is a problem for the Pakistani government.

According to PCB official statement, everything was under control this year and we were heading in the right direction but an unfortunate border situation has forced to overlook our decision. We might change our path but our destiny still remains the same. We are taking tough decisions in order to ensure safety and good cricket for the nation.

As far as foreign players are concern franchises are very much confident as it is confirmed by many players that they will travel to Pakistan for the rival of cricket. Shane Watson the opener batsman for Quetta Gladiator has said it quite earlier that he will not travel to Pakistan for the remaining matches. Rest of the players are quite likely to come to Pakistan. AB De Villiers the iconic representation and star of modern cricket have committed to play its two matches in Lahore. He might miss his last two matches of the group stage due to some family crises but, if Lahore Qalandars qualifies for the playoffs he will surely be there to entertain the crowd.
